Responsibilities
Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will:
- Assist in preparing financial plans and analyzing client data.
- Contribute to client relationship management through CRM software and data management.
- Observe and participate during in-person client meetings to enhance communication skills.
- Perform administrative tasks to support team efficiency and client service.
- Dynamic special projects on an as-needed basis.
- Direct mentorship from a dedicated Wealth Advisor throughout the summer.
- Practical experience with industry-leading tools and technologies, including:
- Money Guide Elite for financial planning.
- Orion Advisor Technology for reporting and portfolio accounting.
- Salesforce CRM Platform (customized overlay from Practifi) for client management.
- Box Cloud Based Document Storage for secure file handling.
- Morningstar Investment Analysis Software for investment insights.
- Holistiplan Tax Planning Software for tax strategy development.
- Social Security Optimization Software for retirement planning.
- Exposure to live client interactions and in-person meetings.
- Development of administrative, professional, and interpersonal skills applicable to any career.
- Collaboration with a cohesive team across multiple office locations.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Preferred: Interest in wealth management and familiarity with financial planning concepts.
