We are looking for a part-time (17.5 hours per week) administrative assistant for our Genetic Counseling Graduate Program.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing administrative support services to department such as data processing, accounting, purchasing, and printing to ensure program procedures and policies are implemented
- Schedules meetings, prepares agendas and ensures that meeting minutes are prepared and distributed. Attends and records minutes of various program meetings
- Manages the administrative functions for the procurement of supplies
- Handles and coordinates active calendars
- Supports graduate students by providing customer service in person and via phone/email
- Ensures electronic and hardcopy file organization based on office protocol
- Provides ad hoc support as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; preference to those with at least one year of office administrative experience.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
