What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Consultant- Real Estate position at KEA?
We have an immediate opening for a Property Tax Consultant whose primary role will be the valuation and negotiation of personal property and complex commercial real estate properties. The role is based in Rockwall, TX. The ideal candidate is a technical, team-oriented, personable individual that can work in an extremely fast-paced environment under deadlines. The right candidate will understand the overall property tax cycle and process, along with the valuation of commercial real estate and negotiation methods. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics or business
3 years of property tax appraisal or consulting experience
Demonstrated analytical skills with a strong preference for providing financial analysis support in a consulting environment
Understanding of basic finance concepts, including concepts related to time value of money
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel a must
Strong communication skills, with the proven ability to coherently express complex concepts, both orally and in writing
Detail-oriented
Deadline driven, high degree of energy and enthusiasm
Willingness to make an effort to learn concepts
Travel may be required
