Position Overview

KE&G Construction, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Administrator to Construct their Legacy in Tucson, Arizona. The Construction Project Administrator will support the project management team in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects. This role involves managing documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and communication to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Client Relationship Management

  • Assist in maintaining and nurturing client relationships from project initiation to completion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with superintendents, engineers, project managers, and other team members to support project goals
  • Help coordinate and schedule meetings, site visits, and presentations

Documentation and Record Keeping

  • Maintain detailed records of project activities, client interactions, and changes
  • Use CRM systems to track project progress and client communications

Budget and Cost Management

  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures under supervision
  • Ensure all costs are tracked and reported accurately

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations and standards
  • Assist in conducting quality checks and ensuring project deliverables meet client expectations

Communication

  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all project stakeholders
  • Prepare and distribute project reports and updates

Problem-Solving

  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle
  • Implement solutions that align with client goals and company protocols

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project administration or a similar role in the construction industry. (Not Required although it is a plus)
  • Knowledge of construction processes and regulations. (Not Required although it is a plus)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk/hear, and operate computers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate active construction sites
  • Work both in office and field environments; outdoors in varied weather conditions
  • Exposure to dust, machinery, noise, uneven terrain, and site-related conditions
  • Occasional extended hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines
