What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruitment Coordinator position at KE Camps?
KE Camps, the nation's largest operator of day camps at country clubs nation-wide, seeks a well-spoken, organized and fun team-player to join our full-time team! We run over 200 day camps at private country clubs in 35 states. The Recruitment Coordinator will be an integral part of our full-time team, which is based at our main office in Princeton, NJ.
You will feel deeply involved in the behind-the-scenes aspects of camp however this is an office job, and you will not be on camp with campers at any time. This role is fully focused on building strong candidate pipelines and delivering high-quality applicants to our hiring team. The ideal candidate will have experience creating and maintaining a recruitment pipeline for seasonal staff, as KE Camps onboards and employs over 1000 seasonal team members for our camp programs.
Recruitment Coordinator Qualities
- Enthusiastic, responsible, dependable and level-headed
- Flexible and calm in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple recruitment pipelines simultaneously
- A self-starter who takes initiative and drives measurable results
- Experience in high-volume recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition preferred (camp or youth program experience a plus)
Recruitment Coordinator Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative strategies to recruit camp staff across the U.S.
- Identify, coordinate, and optimize national job board placements and digital advertising campaigns
- Research and pursue new recruiting channels to expand applicant reach
- Build and manage partnerships with colleges, universities, high schools, and other talent sources nationwide
- Maintain consistent, professional communication with prospective staff members
- Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience through the application stage
- Collaborate closely with the hiring team to ensure smooth candidate handoff
- Support workforce planning efforts to ensure camps are fully staffed each season
- Assist with interviewing and hiring staff, as needed
- Answer phone calls/emails from staff members
- Virtually support camp operations during the summer season
- Various staffing and recruitment-related projects and other administrative tasks, as needed
This is a temporary/seasonal position, working only from March through July. Candidates should expect to work part time, approximately 10 hours per week, during that time-period.
