kdc/one Groveport is part of the kdc/one network, the leading best-in-class producer of beauty and personal care products.  We are a diverse and passionate team of experts offering innovative, turn-key solutions to our customers through ideation, formulation, design, packaging and manufacturing of products.   With over 15,000 passionate, innovative employees working in 25 manufacturing sites across the world, we want you to join our growing team.    Our Groveport site has an immediate opening for a skilled  Project Coordinator who will assist the Director of Engineering in managing and delivering engineering projects that may involve supporting new product development, process improvement, and/or capital expenditures.  This customer-facing role requires a strong background in administrative support/project management and the capability to work cross-functionally with varying departments.    This position will be responsible for the following: Capture & document detailed engineering project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, risk management strategies, and resource allocation. Creates project tracking tools & dashboards to maintain an accurate level of information on all site-related engineering projects, keeping all stakeholders up to date Identify potential risks to project timelines and budgets and escalate as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, and Quality, to define project scopes, timelines, and technical specifications for  site engineering projects Gathers quotes for change parts from packaging engineers; prepares and submits tooling authorization forms to the New Projects Manager and maintains tooling authorization tracker. Prepares and submits line trial quotes to New Projects Manager; updates and maintains finance tracker. Provides engineering information needed to support on-time completion of Request for Quotes (RFQs); ensures data is accurate and timely.  Tracks and verifies componentry needed to complete any trials and report New Projects Manager   any E&O trial materials that must be dispositioned. Attend customer events related to any new project as requested by New Projects Manager and/or Director of Engineering The ideal candidate will have the following: Associates degree and/or or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field is preferred.  In lieu of a degree a minimum of 4 years of experience coordinating projects in a manufacturing settings is required.
