Chemical Receiving Coordinator
As a Chemical Receiving Coordinator, you’ll be the first line of quality control for our raw materials and chemicals. You’ll manage incoming deliveries, verify documentation, and ensure everything is properly staged, sanitized, and entered into SAP. This role is hands-on, detail-driven, and keeps production running smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Chemical Receiving Coordinator
As a Chemical Receiving Coordinator, you’ll be the first line of quality control for our raw materials and chemicals. You’ll manage incoming deliveries, verify documentation, and ensure everything is properly staged, sanitized, and entered into SAP. This role is hands-on, detail-driven, and keeps production running smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Receive and process inbound deliveries of chemicals and raw materials.
- Schedule dock appointments and coordinate with carriers and internal teams.
- Unload, stage, and put away raw materials in designated inventory locations.
- Review and verify documentation, complete SAP transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Clean and sanitize equipment used in unloading bulk tankers (CIP/COP procedures).
- Operate powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support production by picking and staging materials for Pre-weigh and Compounding.
- Maintain inventory accuracy in SAP and investigate any discrepancies or transaction errors.
- Keep the Chemical Warehouse, receiving area, and bulk tank room clean and organized.
- Fill in for the Chemical Warehouse Lead when needed.
- Perform all duties in compliance with FDA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and company quality standards.
- High school diploma or GED, with strong math and reading comprehension.
- At least 2 years of experience operating PIT equipment.
- 2 years of shipping and receiving experience.
- SAP experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with solid organizational and interpersonal abilities.
