BEPC has an open position for a Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Allentown, PA

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.03 per hour (Paid Weekly)

Term: 6-month contract with possible extensions or permanency based on performance

Shift: Mon to Fri, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Requirements: HS Diploma or GED / 1 - 3 Years of forklift operation experience and good & Stable work history.

Job Description:

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices—such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets—to assist in the loading, moving, and transporting of materials and products within the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles safely and efficiently.

· Load, unload, and move materials within or between departments, facilities, or trucks.

· Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper working condition.

· Maintain accurate records of materials moved, inventory levels, and completed work.

· Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

· Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

· Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Experience: 1–3 years of prior forklift or material handling experience preferred.

· Valid forklift certification (if required by site).

· Strong attention to safety, detail, and efficiency.

· Ability to work the assigned 2nd shift schedule (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM).
