Role Overview
BEPC is seeking an organized and detail-driven Inventory Specialist to support daily inventory accuracy and material flow for our client’s operations. This role ensures that inventory systems remain aligned with physical counts, investigates discrepancies, and supports Quality and Manufacturing teams with materials requiring special handling such as returns, expired products, and quarantined items. This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit inventory daily to maintain system accuracy and ensure proper stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies during order processing.
- Process rejected, expired, short-dated, returned, and damaged materials.
- Support Quality and Manufacturing teams with materials designated for destruction, rework, or quarantine.
- Resolve orders placed on hold due to inventory status or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate system updates through significant computer interface and data entry.
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or material handling strongly preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with inventory management systems.
- Ability to analyze discrepancies and determine root causes.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
