KCT Menswear has been dressing Southwest Michigan since 1983. We're a family-owned formalwear retailer with stores in Downtown Kalamazoo and at Crossroads Mall in Portage, specializing in suits, tuxedos, wedding parties, prom and custom tailoring.

The Role

We're looking for a creative Visual Merchandiser to style our mannequins and keep our store looking sharp. This is a flexible, part-time role: you'll come in about once a week or once every two weeks for a full day (typically 6–10 hours) to refresh mannequins, windows and in-store displays. A great fit for a display artist, stylist or fashion student with an eye for menswear who wants steady, creative side work.

What You'll Do

• Dress and style men's mannequins in suits, tuxedos and seasonal looks (wedding, prom, holiday)
• Design and set window and in-store displays that drive sales
• Rotate displays to feature new arrivals, promotions and seasonal collections
• Steam, press and prep garments so every display looks crisp
• Coordinate colors, ties, vests, shoes and accessories into complete outfits
• Re-merchandise racks, tables and wall displays for a clean, shoppable layout
• Take photos of finished displays for our website and social media

What We're Looking For

• Experience in visual merchandising, mannequin styling, retail display or fashion styling
• A strong eye for menswear fit, color and coordination
• Comfortable on your feet for a long day and able to lift and move mannequins (up to 50 lbs)
• Reliable and self-directed: able to work independently and finish a full refresh in one day
• Portfolio or photos of past displays is a plus

Schedule

• One full day every 1–2 weeks (about 6–10 hours)
• Extra days may be available during prom and wedding season
• Days are flexible and scheduled in advance
