We are looking for an Account Director of Public Relations to add to our team. This person is a trusted advisor to clients and confidently leads a handful of accounts. This Account Director will span multiple verticals, so being able to champion clients in different industries simultaneously is paramount. This person is a media relations shark with a proven track record of earned media relationships and placements. Guiding and mentoring junior team members, as well as reporting up to senior leadership, is a daily part of the role so experience working in a heavily matrixed environment is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

Lead a handful of client accounts
-
Ideation & execution of strategy and tactical execution
-
Day-to-day program management
-
Substantial media relationships
-
Executing final draft of strategic plan
-
Final review of status reports / forecast / recaps to be provided to Managing Director / SVP
-
Cultivate and manage junior staff SAE, AE and AAE level staffers
-
Run five accounts with light supervision
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree
-
5-8 years prior PR agency experience
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Team player with ability to take the lead on relevant projects
