Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Class D Driver to join our team in Lucedale. The ideal candidate will provide prompt and efficient transport from Hattiesburg, MS to Lucedale, MS. You will be driving a 26 ft box truck from Hattisburg, MS to Lucedale, MS. This role requires driving a company vehicle and ensuring regular servicing and cleaning of vehicles is conducted.
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages and FedEx Office customer orders
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Drive a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Receive route information from a centralized dispatcher and adjust routes as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
