About the Opportunity
A growing manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations & Compliance Coordinator to support day-to-day operations, procurement activities, and quality/compliance initiatives.
This role plays a key part in supporting quality systems implementation, audit readiness, and supplier coordination, while ensuring smooth execution of administrative and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Compliance Support
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (AS9100 / ISO)
- Support internal audits, documentation control, and audit readiness
- Maintain documentation for customer, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate audit preparation, including data collection and corrective action follow-up
- Track training records, certifications, and compliance documentation
Procurement & Supply Chain Support
- Source materials and outside vendors
- Request and manage supplier quotes
- Issue purchase orders and track delivery timelines
- Coordinate with suppliers on lead times, quality, and performance
Administrative & Operational Support
- Support production planning and scheduling coordination
- Maintain job documentation and order tracking
- Assist with internal communication and customer coordination
- Support data entry and reporting (ERP systems, Excel)
Continuous Improvement
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Support system upgrades (ERP, scheduling tools)
- Assist in standardizing procedures and documentation
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or administrative support
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC, aerospace, or similar preferred)
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 systems strongly preferred
- Basic understanding of procurement and supplier coordination
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
Preferred
- Experience supporting audits or compliance programs
- Exposure to regulated environments (ITAR a plus)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, quality, and suppliers
