Operations & Compliance Coordinator

About the Opportunity

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations & Compliance Coordinator to support day-to-day operations, procurement activities, and quality/compliance initiatives.

This role plays a key part in supporting quality systems implementation, audit readiness, and supplier coordination, while ensuring smooth execution of administrative and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Compliance Support

• Assist in implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (AS9100 / ISO)
• Support internal audits, documentation control, and audit readiness
• Maintain documentation for customer, regulatory, and compliance requirements
• Coordinate audit preparation, including data collection and corrective action follow-up
• Track training records, certifications, and compliance documentation

Procurement & Supply Chain Support

• Source materials and outside vendors
• Request and manage supplier quotes
• Issue purchase orders and track delivery timelines
• Coordinate with suppliers on lead times, quality, and performance

Administrative & Operational Support

• Support production planning and scheduling coordination
• Maintain job documentation and order tracking
• Assist with internal communication and customer coordination
• Support data entry and reporting (ERP systems, Excel)

Continuous Improvement

• Identify process improvement opportunities
• Support system upgrades (ERP, scheduling tools)
• Assist in standardizing procedures and documentation

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or administrative support
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC, aerospace, or similar preferred)
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 systems strongly preferred
• Basic understanding of procurement and supplier coordination
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

Preferred

• Experience supporting audits or compliance programs
• Exposure to regulated environments (ITAR a plus)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, quality, and suppliers
