Position Summary
The Regional Operations Manager – Mid‑Missouri oversees daily branch operations while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams across the region. This role blends operational leadership, client relationship management, and project oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to KCAV quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Mid‑Missouri region and branch office.
- Act as the on‑site liaison between Sales, Operations, Client Services, and Engineered Services for all regional projects.
- Manage client relationships, communication, site walks, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate scheduling, deliveries, onsite work, and resources with warehouse staff, project managers, and operations teams.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timelines, scope, quality standards, and sold gross profit margins are met.
- Proactively identify and resolve project or client issues to maintain profitability and client satisfaction.
- Support sales efforts by assisting with revenue objectives, project planning, and proposal coordination.
- Coordinate client training and post‑installation support as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to address operational challenges and support regional goals.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety and loss‑prevention standards.
- Build and maintain a positive, values‑driven culture aligned with KCAV’s core values.
Leadership & Administrative Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage regional staff, subcontractors, and interns; oversee performance and daily assignments.
- Partner with Human Resources on staffing needs, employee relations issues, and retention strategies.
- Oversee facility operations, inventory standards, fleet coordination, and company asset management.
- Ensure compliance with KCAV policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Manage company credit card usage (if assigned) and approve expenses in accordance with company policy.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and complete other duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements
Local and regional travel required on a regular basis. Ocassional travel outside of region as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, management, or business development within a technical or AV-related industry
- Strong background in B2B sales, account management, and negotiation strategies
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret sales data and market trends for strategic decision-making
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client partnerships
- 5 years of experience in a management capacity in the audio-visual service and
- installation industry
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must have demonstrated planning skills and demonstrated knowledge of installation

- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and be able to
- quickly learn and become fluent in Solutions Q360
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check (including pre-employment drug screening.
