POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to manage international shipments into the United States. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who can manage multiple shipments while ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage import shipments from origin to final delivery
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations
• Prepare and review documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, ISF filings)
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and overseas agents
• Track shipments and provide proactive client updates
• Resolve delays, customs issues, and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate shipment records
• Deliver a high-touch, client-focused experience

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of experience handling U.S. import shipments
• Strong knowledge of Customs clearance processes
• Experience with freight forwarders and customs brokers
• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
