Direct Support Professional Assistant

What You’ll Do
As a Direct Support Professional Assistant, you’ll be hands-on in helping individuals build independence, confidence, and meaningful daily lives—both at our facilities and out in the community.

- Support individuals with life skills training to promote independence and personal growth
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, hygiene, and wellness support
- Help implement individualized plans and track progress through documentation and data collection
- Provide compassionate care, including medication administration and basic medical support
- Ensure safety by following risk, dining, wellness, and seizure plans
- Encourage community involvement and help individuals engage in meaningful activities
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including lifting and positioning when required
- Support the use and care of adaptive equipment
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and confidential environment at all times

Physical & Role Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs independently (and more with assistance)
- Willingness to assist with mobility, transfers, and personal care tasks
