Position Overview
As a Neurology Physician Assistant (PA), you will enjoy a high degree of clinical autonomy while working alongside a collaborative team of physicians and specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed neurological examinations and evaluate patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic neurological disorders.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient management plans, record detailed progress notes, and ensure continuity of care.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately identify and assess patients' clinical problems.
- Prescribe targeted therapies or medications in alignment with clinic protocols and physician collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with the wider neurology team to optimize complex patient care.
- Advocate for health promotion and disease prevention while offering empathetic guidance and counseling to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program (NCCPA certified).
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted state license as a Physician Assistant (PA).
- Experience: 2 years of clinical provider experience specifically in neurology.
- Skills: Strong clinical acumen with a proven ability to work independently and autonomously. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-first mentality are essential.
