Senior Staff Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a company in Portsmouth, NH searching for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site position offering excellent stability and exposure to multi-entity accounting.

The Senior Staff Accountant responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing daily accounting transactions across multiple entities
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts and fixed asset schedules
• Tracking expenses, credit cards, and intercompany activity
• Supporting month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
  
  

Requirements For The Senior Staff Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
