Senior Manager – SOX & Technical Accounting
📍Hybrid (3 days onsite – Boston, Back Bay)
💰$160–165K base 15% bonus equity
Our client is looking for a Senior Manager – SOX & Technical Accounting to strengthen their financial controls and reporting environment during a period of rapid growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll own SOX compliance (404a → 404b transition), partner with external auditors, and provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate the company’s SOX compliance program (financial and ITGC).
- Design, implement, and test internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
- Collaborate with business process owners to ensure best practices and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain internal control documentation, flowcharts, and testing evidence.
- Provide guidance on complex accounting issues under IFRS (US GAAP exposure a plus).
- Partner with external auditors and advisors during audits and compliance reviews.
- Deliver training and promote strong internal control awareness across the company.
- 7–10 years’ experience in SOX, internal controls, or audit, with Big 4 strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS; US GAAP a plus.
- Prior experience with Nasdaq-listed companies.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and able to manage priorities in a global, high-growth setting.
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional designation preferred.
- Open to limited travel to European offices (France, Switzerland).
