Procurement Specialist / Senior Buyer

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is working with a manufacturing company near Nashua, NH that is searching for a Senior Buyer to help the team grow and meet production goals. Our client is motivated to hire and is seeking a candidate that can interview immediately. The responsibilities for the Procurement Specialist / Buyer will include but will not be limited to:

• Continue to strengthen relationships with vendors and build new ones.
• Perform analysis of purchasing, pricing, costs, and provide value added reporting.
• Work very closely with finance, operations production and sales to achieve goals.
• Review pricing, inventory, negotiate contracts, source new vendors, monitor quality of inventory.
• Be a key element of demand planning, forecasts and effective inventory management.
  
  

The ideal candidate for the Senior Procurement Specialist role should have experience that meets the following requirements:

• Bachelor's in Business or related, preferred
• Recent experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
• Strong purchasing experience in manufacturing
• 3 years of relevant accounting experience
