Senior Director, Corporate Controller (Hybrid/Greater Boston)

$250K, 25% bonus plus equity

A high-growth, PE-backed consumer products organization is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate Controller to lead global accounting operations and elevate the function to best-in-class.

This is a highly visible leadership role with direct exposure to executive leadership and investors, ideal for someone ready to step into a broader, enterprise-level impact position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, cash management, and working capital
• Own the month-end close and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
• Partner with executive leadership to deliver clear insights on financial performance and key variances
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and scalable infrastructure
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
• Support interactions with lenders, board, and private equity stakeholders
  
  

Requirements

• CPA required; public accounting foundation (Big 4 preferred)
• Progressive experience in Accounting leadership (Controller / Director-level)
• Background in manufacturing, retail, or distribution environments; CPG experience strongly preferred
• Experience operating within global organizations and leading international teams
• Exposure to mid-to-large scale companies (beyond early-stage / small revenue environments)
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and investors
