Financial Analyst

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a growing company near Portsmouth, NH to find a talented Financial Analyst to join their collaborative finance team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business support, and who’s looking to contribute to a high-functioning team in a company that values process improvement, cross-functional partnerships, and professional growth.

You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership and business unit stakeholders to support financial planning and analysis, develop reporting tools, and drive insights that support decision-making and company-wide performance.

This is a hybrid friendly position 2-3 days in office.

Responsibilities For The Financial Analyst Position

• Support monthly forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes
• Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and tracking tools for reporting KPIs and business performance
• Analyze actual vs. budget variances and communicate trends, opportunities, and risks to stakeholders
• Partner with business units to provide financial insights that influence operational and strategic decisions
• Assist in the development of department-level budgets and forecasts
• Create and deliver ad hoc financial analyses to support projects, cost initiatives, and performance metrics
• Contribute to month-end reporting, internal dashboards, and preparation of management reporting packages
• Identify and drive process improvements across reporting, planning, and analysis functions
• Support finance leadership in presenting findings to internal stakeholders and executive teams
  
  

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 2 years of relevant corporate FP&A experience.
• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with mid to large size ERP systems and reporting tools such as BI, Tableau, etc.
• Strong understanding of core finance and accounting principles
• Comfortable working across departments and presenting to leadership
• Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  
  

Salary: $85,000-$110,000 Excellent Benefits and Hybrid flexibility
