Responsibilities For The Financial Analyst Position
- Support monthly forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and tracking tools for reporting KPIs and business performance
- Analyze actual vs. budget variances and communicate trends, opportunities, and risks to stakeholders
- Partner with business units to provide financial insights that influence operational and strategic decisions
- Assist in the development of department-level budgets and forecasts
- Create and deliver ad hoc financial analyses to support projects, cost initiatives, and performance metrics
- Contribute to month-end reporting, internal dashboards, and preparation of management reporting packages
- Identify and drive process improvements across reporting, planning, and analysis functions
- Support finance leadership in presenting findings to internal stakeholders and executive teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 2 years of relevant corporate FP&A experience.
- Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with mid to large size ERP systems and reporting tools such as BI, Tableau, etc.
- Strong understanding of core finance and accounting principles
- Comfortable working across departments and presenting to leadership
- Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
