KBW has partnered with a Boston area PE backed medical device company to identify a Corporate Controller. This is a hybrid remote role requiring three days in office. Additional details include:
- Managing the GL and close process
- External auditor coordination
- Tax compliance
- Establishing and maintaining financial controls with the accounting department.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports and risk analysis.
- Assessing current accounting operations and implementing new processes.
- Assist in preparation of budgets and financial forecasting.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, account reconciliations and select management reports.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
- Developing and monitoring business performance metrics.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software
- 8 years corproate accounting experience
- BS in Accounting
- Management experience (3 reports)
- GAAP and internal controls experience
- ERP experience - implementation experience ideal
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Inventory experience required
