Woburn, MA (Hybrid: 3–4 days onsite, 1–2 remote)

$60,000–$70,000 base quarterly bonus

We are seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed healthcare services organization. This is a high-visibility role within a dynamic finance team, supporting billing and collections operations across multiple states and business units.

The ideal candidate brings strong high-volume billing experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and submit high-volume billing across multiple payors and systems
• Investigate denials and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable
• Resubmit claims and ensure timely collections
• Maintain accurate and detailed billing and collections records
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
• Communicate with insurance providers, patients, and internal stakeholders regarding billing inquiries
  
  

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of billing and/or collections experience
• Experience working with high-volume billing (multiple payors, codes, or systems required)
• Strong Excel and systems skills (ERP experience a plus)
• Exposure to multi-state billing and reimbursement
• Medicaid or healthcare billing experience
• Familiarity with UB04/1500 billing practices
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
