What You'll Do
- Lead and assist with audit, review, compilation, and attestation engagements for clients across a variety of industries
- Plan and execute engagement fieldwork while ensuring compliance with professional standards
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and proactive service
- Research accounting and auditing issues and recommend practical solutions
- Analyze financial information and identify areas of risk and opportunity
- Supervise, mentor, and train Staff Accountants and newer team members
- Review workpapers and assist with engagement completion and delivery
- Collaborate with managers and partners on engagement planning and client service initiatives
- Gain exposure to complex business transactions and specialized accounting matters
- 2 years of public accounting audit experience
- Experience working on audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements
- Exposure to commercial and middle-market clients preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAS and GAAP
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of client service
- Desire to mentor and develop junior staff members
