Job Summary Seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to maintain and manage LAN connectivity, UPS equipment, and support the operational integrity of network components within the LNSC server farm. The position involves analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting IT systems, with a focus on ensuring application interfaces comply with ONE NET policies and standards. The Network Engineer will collaborate with clients and internal teams, refine technical requirements, and implement solutions for mission-critical IT applications and network systems. A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting large-scale, mission-critical Cisco-based WAN/LAN systems. Roles and Responsibilities Operate and maintain LAN connectivity, ensuring all network components are secure and fully operational. Manage and maintain UPS equipment, ensuring continuous support for the network infrastructure within the LNSC server farm. Perform comprehensive system analysis and design for IT applications, ensuring integration and alignment with ONE NET standards and policies. Collaborate with clients and application representatives to assess IT requirements, ensuring proper application interfaces conform to established guidelines. Develop specifications and requirements for client application systems, advising on potential projects and evaluating their feasibility. Participate in structured systems analysis for the development of new or enhanced IT applications. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams for the implementation of new or upgraded IT applications. Follow problem and change management processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations. Provide user orientation on hardware, software, and network operations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications U.S. Citizenship with Top Secret clearance required. Must pass overseas medical screening and maintain good health. Must hold a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Knowledge in network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational, administrative, and computer skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for liaising with clients, departments, subcontractors, and senior management.
