CNC Machinist (Weekend or night shifts)

Essential Duties

CNC Machinists will need knowledge/experience reading drawings and blueprints to determine critical part information, and have experience with part inspection and related hand tools/precision measuring devices.

Education Level

All education/experience levels will be considered

Experience

Candidates will be evaluated throughout the interview process for placement into Machining positions of varying levels including: Machine Operator, Machinist, Set-up Machinist. Experience in Okuma or Heidenhain experience

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

There is frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to wet and/ or humid conditions and extreme cold or heat. The employee is at risk of electrical shock and vibration. Pay: $23.58 - $30.00 per hour
