CNC Machinist / CNC Machine Operator – All Shifts Available
JWF Industries is seeking CNC Machinists, CNC Setup Machinists, CNC Machine Operators, Production Machinists, and Manufacturing Machinists to join our growing team. Successful candidates will perform CNC machining operations in a precision manufacturing environment, producing high-quality components for defense, transportation, infrastructure, and other industrial markets.
This position requires the ability to set up and operate CNC equipment, read blueprints and engineering drawings, inspect finished components, and maintain exacting quality standards while meeting production requirements.
Candidates with experience in CNC machining, CNC setup, machine operation, blueprint reading, precision measurement, quality inspection, CNC milling, CNC turning, and manufacturing production environments are encouraged to apply.

Essential Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Identify critical dimensions, tolerances, and part requirements from technical drawings.
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and production runs.
- Inspect components using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and related inspection tools.
- Verify part quality and ensure compliance with customer and engineering specifications.
- Work closely with Quality and Production teams to maintain product quality and on-time delivery.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as required.
- Maintain safe operating procedures and follow all manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Education Level
Formal machining training is beneficial but not required. All education and experience levels will be considered.
Experience
- All experience levels are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates will be evaluated for placement into positions including Machine Operator, CNC Machinist, and CNC Setup Machinist.
- Experience in a manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or production environment is preferred.
- Experience with CNC machining, CNC milling, CNC turning, machine setup, blueprint reading, quality inspection, and precision measurement is highly desired.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, bore gauges, and height gauges is preferred.
- Ability to maintain close tolerances and produce quality parts according to print specifications.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping and grasping), and reach with arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
