Day Shift Warehouse Laborer

We are seeking hardworking and enthusiastic individuals, that take pride in a job well done. The day shift warehouse laborer position is responsible for operating a pallet jack / stand-up tow motor, unloading inbound trucks, stacking product from one pallet onto another pallet, picking walk-up customers orders and loading them into their vehicles.

The shift is 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday thru Saturday

The job will require working in areas with varied temperatures from refrigerated

(34 degrees) to a freezer (-10 degrees).

Responsibilities:

Employees must be able to perform all the essential functions listed below.

· Develop a good working knowledge of the warehouse layout and inventory placement

· Operate all power industrial equipment in a safe manner while moving throughout the facility

· Unload pallets of freight off of inbound trucks

· Hand stack items at varying heights, weights and quantities in different temperatures from one pallet

   onto another pallet.

· Hand select items at varying heights, weights, quantities in different temperatures throughout the

   shift

· Able to move in a full range of physical activity including bending and lifting weight from 1 -75 lbs,

   up to 90lbs. on occasion

· Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

· Must be 18 years of age

· Able to read, write and communicate effectively as it relates to the job and safety requirements

· Constantly moves about to coordinate work, walking most of the shift, lifting items frequently

throughout the shift – this is a manual labor position

· Work in refrigerated environment eight (8) hours or more

· Basic math skills as it relates to the job

· Ability to be certified and safely operate a pallet jack

· Adhere to safety and sanitation standards

· Employee is required to adhere to attendance guidelines
