Afternoon Shift Order Selector

The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible for operating a pallet jack, selecting the correct product, labeling, then placing the items onto pallet., building a properly stacked pallet, and safely loading onto trucks for delivery to customers.

The position is on the afternoon shift 1:00pm to 9:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Employees must be able to perform all the essential functions listed below.

· Meet and or exceed minimum case pick select (cases per hour) and accuracy productivity standards.

· Develop a good working knowledge of the warehouse layout, inventory placement and pick path

· Operate all power industrial equipment in a safe manner while moving throughout the facility

· Use of RF electronic equipment in the course of daily case pick selection

· Hand select items at varying heights, weights, quantities in different temperatures throughout the shift

· Able to move in a full range of physical activity including bending and lifting weight from 1 -75 lbs., up to 90lbs. on occasion

· Stack product on pallets according to proper build procedures (i.e. heaviest on the bottom, labels facing out, balanced load, etc.)

· Shrink wrap product on loading dock

· Load selected pallets onto the proper truck or trailer.

· Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

.Must be able to perform in a fast paced environment.
Warehouse experience required.
Forklift and motorized pallet jack experience required.

Starting wage is $16.00 per hour. After 60 days realistic earning potential is $20 to $30 per hour.
