Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Support Specialist to join the Construction and Project Management (C&PM) team. This role works independently with minimal supervision, managing moderate to complex administrative and technical tasks for nuclear or engineering projects. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project SharePoint sites, tracking and monitoring project files, ensuring Teams and SharePoint content is current, supporting project startup and closeout procedures, and assisting with in-processing of new employees and contract staff. The role requires strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills and a high degree of accuracy and discretion.
This position may also support biennial refueling outages in the capacity designated and requires detailed knowledge of company operations, procedures, and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform duties under limited supervision, exercising discretion, and independent judgment in planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
- Assist Project Managers with the development and maintenance of project SharePoint sites to ensure accurate record retention.
- Communicate with site users in person, via email, and by phone to identify SharePoint access needs.
- Upload, publish, archive, and organize project documents in the appropriate SharePoint locations.
- Provide user training for project staff and other personnel as needed.
- Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups.
- Support Project Managers with all project closeout procedures, including document duplication, scanning, printing, transmitting, and archiving.
- Assist with in-processing of new department employees and contract staff, including SSIS and paperwork processing.
- Ensure all Microsoft programs (Excel, Office, Teams, SharePoint) are effectively utilized for project support.
- Incorporate processes and procedures supporting project startup and closeout phases.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (preferably in applied management, business, or project management) with two or more years of advanced administrative or technical experience
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university (in management, technical, or science-related field) with at least four years of advanced administrative or technical experience
- High school diploma/GED with at least six years of advanced administrative or technical experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to function effectively as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and OneNote.
- Solid technical aptitude and quick learner of new software.
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Apply a constructive approach toward work activities and interactions.
- Team and customer service-oriented, with strong personal ethics and planning skills.
- Experience with office equipment, scanning, and filing documents appropriately.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Green Badge Level 2: must complete ePHQ, full background screen, FFD testing; access to buildings and plant areas as authorized.
- Schedule: 4 days x 10 hours (4/10s).
- Per diem allowed.
- Remote work not available.
