As a Cabinet Refinishing Prep Technician, your primary responsibility will be to prepare kitchen cabinets for the refinishing process. Key tasks include:

• Removing doors, drawer fronts, and hardware.
• Carefully labeling and mapping out each cabinet section for accurate reassembly.
• Protecting surrounding surfaces by covering countertops, floors, and appliances with plastic, drop cloths, and tape.
• Sealing off the kitchen by hanging plastic to contain dust and debris.
• Cleaning and degreasing cabinets to ensure a proper refinishing surface.
• Thoroughly sanding all surfaces to prepare for paint or stain.
• Applying masking techniques to cover cabinet openings, drawers, and any adjacent areas not being refinished.
