The Document Processing & Training Specialist will be a key member of the team, responsible for producing high-quality legal documents and training employees on new software and processes. This role provides the chance to contribute meaningfully in a professional, team-oriented setting while supporting attorneys and staff across the firm.
Responsibilities for Document Processing Specialist:
- Lead training sessions for employees on new software, tools, and workflow processes to ensure team proficiency and adoption
- Produce, edit, format, and revise complex legal documents, including blacklines
- Convert documents to Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint as required
- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards
- Provide at-desk or remote support to attorneys and staff
- Communicate effectively with lawyers and supervisors regarding tasks, instructions, and deadlines
- Assist in developing and maintaining documentation and materials for departmental training programs
Requirements for Document Processing Specialist:
- 4 years of experience as a word processor in a law firm environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Visio
- Experience mentoring employees on new software, systems, or processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor with attorneys, staff, and clients
- Capable of working independently and making well-thought-out decisions with minimal supervision
- Typing speed of 55 WPM or higher
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
