Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections, offering detailed product demos when needed
• Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and drawer balancing
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to enhance their shopping experience
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Conduct product knowledge sessions to educate customers about features and benefits of various items
• Support merchandising efforts by setting up attractive displays aligned with store standards

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail environment
• Strong supervising or leadership experience is a plus for supporting team initiatives
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, stock counts, and sales reports
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers
• Skilled in customer service with a friendly, approachable demeanor and effective phone etiquette
• Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and inventory management
• Capable of performing basic math calculations quickly for sales totals, discounts, and change handling
• Experience in conducting product demos to engage customers and boost sales performance
