Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cape Girardeau, MO. This position supports the Store Manager by overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, merchandising, inventory checks, and cash handling. The Assistant Store Manager leads and coaches team members to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure a welcoming store environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting customers with product selection, managing customer inquiries and concerns, monitoring store performance, and helping to implement company promotions. The role also involves maintaining visual standards, supporting loss prevention efforts, and upholding company policies and procedures.

- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening abilities.
- Store Management capabilities, such as supervising staff, delegating tasks, and supporting daily operational activities.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring for shrinkage and following security procedures.
- Previous retail or sales experience, ideally in jewelry or specialty retail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and standard office software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or retail management is a plus.
