Overview
We are seeking entry level or skilled Roofer / Helper to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with various tools, following directions, work without close supervision, and have a strong focus on quality workmanship and safety. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on commercial & industrial buildings. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, working efficiently, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install roofing systems including shingles, metal, and flat roofs according to specifications. (Commercial roofing, not residential.)
- Fabricate roofing materials as needed for specific projects.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing.
- Keep workspace clean & tidy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
- Remove & dispose of old roofing systems. Prep areas for installation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar construction role.
- Familiarity with working/standing on slopes is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of power tools, has personal tools.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Forklift/skytrack skills are a plus.
- Lift/carry 40 pounds
- Cannot be afraid of ladders & heights
- Drivers license with a clean driving record preferred.
- CDL Drivers a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
