We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting end-user environments and maintaining IT infrastructure in a fast-paced business setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS operating systems
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and application issues
- Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Manage Active Directory (user accounts, password resets, group membership, basic GPO support)
- Perform workstation imaging, deployments, and upgrades
- Maintain asset inventory and documentation
- Support VPN connectivity and remote access tools
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams as needed
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high user satisfaction
- 2 years of hands-on desktop support experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows 10/11
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- CompTIA A
- CompTIA Network
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- ITIL Foundation (v4 preferred)
