Commercial Roofing Foreman
We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman with a minimum 3 year's Commercial Roofing Foreman experience and we are offering a SIGNING BONUS. Additional bonus opportunities are available. Salary commensurate with experience. Kautz Construction is a family-owned commercial construction company that has been in business for over 45 years and offers competitive wages, 401k, paid earned vacation time, paid holidays, health, dental, eye insurance, and a company truck.
The primary duties are:
- Will work closely with the Project Managers and Production Team to ensure timely completion of all roof projects.
- Hands-on manager that leads team to follow all OSHA regulations, Kautz and customer safety policies and procedures, and complete projects safely and within budget.
- Lead a 5-10 person crew to accomplish required goals.
- Complete daily job reports with daily communication with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
- Available every day regardless of weather.
- Maintain work truck; clean and stocked as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Commercial Roofing experience – EPDM, TPO, and PVC
- Hands-on team player with excellent communication skills; able to motivate teams, and train as needed.
- Able to solve problems quickly, balance priorities and work with minimal supervision.
- Willing and able to perform all tasks efficiently and with a professional level of craftsmanship.
- Ability to delegate responsibilities to crew members and contractors, ensuring efficient and productive workflow.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
- Agree to pre-employment drug screening.
