Part-Time Legal Receptionist

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, personable receptionist to be the first point of contact for our Minden office. You will greet clients, answer and route phone calls, schedule appointments, and support the office with administrative work.
This is a great role for someone who is comfortable with technology and interested in growing their skills. Our firm actively uses modern technology in daily operations, and on-the-job training with our tools and systems may be included as part of this position.
Responsibilities
1. Answer, screen, and route incoming calls.
2. Greet and assist clients and visitors.
3. Schedule and confirm client appointments and consultations.
4. Process incoming and outgoing mail, including certified mail and deliveries.
5. Enter client contact information and intake details into firm systems.
6. Scan, copy, file, and organize documents according to firm procedures.
7. Keep office areas clean, organized, and client-ready; manage office supply inventory.
8. Make bank deposits and run occasional errands.
9. Assist attorneys, the paralegal, and staff with administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
1. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and the ability to learn new software quickly.
2. Professional phone manner and strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Strict discretion with confidential information.
4. Dependable attendance and punctuality, with a reliable vehicle for occasional errands.
Preferred:
1. Comfort adopting and quickly learning new software tools in a work setting.
2. Prior experience in a law office, title company, medical office, or other professional setting.
3. Notary public commission.
Schedule and Compensation
1. Part-time, Monday – Thursday approximately 20 hours per week.
2. Approximately $17.00 per hour, depending on experience.
3. This position does not include benefits.
