Katy Spring & Mfg., Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to support our financial operations. This role is responsible for managing key accounting functions including accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support business planning and compliance.

- Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, commissions, and month-end close activities
- Prepare and ensure timely monthly financial reporting
- Maintain and manage general ledger accuracy and structure
- Support annual and monthly budgeting, including variance analysis
- Assist with capital expenditure accounting and purchase order creation
- Generate and send customer invoices twice weekly; follow up on outstanding balances
- Prepare quarterly financial statements for CPA submission following executive review
- Coordinate with banking partners for quarterly financial reporting
- Review Dun & Bradstreet reports to determine customer credit terms
- Set up new vendors and complete credit applications
- Run inventory reports for inactive materials and finished goods
- Retrieve and distribute company mail
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelors in Accounting or related prederred
- 1–3 years of accounting or related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with accounting, order processing, or ERP systems
- Comfortable using internet-based tools and financial software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
