Reports To: Student Systems Manager
Duty Days: 238 Days
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Grade: AS04
Qualifications:
College hours, high school diploma, or GED required
K-12 educational experience & proven record of customer support required.
Experience with Student Systems preferred.
Must have proven problem solving experience as well as some information systems aptitude.
Strong customer service skills are required.
Strong teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities while producing high quality work within deadlines.
Primary Purpose:
Provide student data management support for Katy ISD users and systems.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train end-users on Student Systems, as required.
- Update and edit student data within KISD information systems.
- Support campuses, departments, and end-users with student system issues and student data reports.
- Perform post-production testing and quality assurance for campus and district reports and initiate a resolution (when required). Assist in the production and delivery of grade reports (IPRs, report cards, & transcripts).
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve help desk tickets.
- Provide assistance to campuses on master scheduling & TAC and be the SME for the campus.
- Assist Leads & Analysts with report requirements & customs, as needed, in area of expertise.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as directed.
Equipment Used:
Personal computer, printer, copier, telephone.
Working Conditions:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions. Also requires some district-wide travel, repetitive hand motions, and prolonged use of a computer.
