Katten, a global Am Law 100 firm, seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its premier Financial Markets & Funds Department working from its New York office.
Candidates must have 2–4 years of experience representing asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms and other global market participants, such as commodity pools and proprietary trading firms, at a nationally recognized law firm or in a relevant in-house role at an asset manager, hedge fund, private equity firm or similar market participant. Investment management experience is required.
Excellent academic credentials, strong analytical and writing skills, and a client-team focused approach is a must. Candidates should be admitted to the New York bar or immediately eligible to waive into the New York bar.
The estimated salary range for this role is $235,000 - $365,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
