Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its premier Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice, working from its New York office. Remote and hybrid arrangements may be considered.
Candidates should have 3-6 years of experience with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), with a specific focus on qualified plans counseling (including 401(k), 403(b), Cash Balance, Defined Benefit, Multiemployer and Multiple Employer Plans, and ESOPS). Ideal candidates will also have experience with M&A and executive compensation and/or ERISA Title I experience in the context of investment funds and/or structured finance.
All candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, and the ability to work well on a team. Qualified candidates should include their resume, writing sample and a copy of their law school transcript in their application.
The estimated salary range for this role is $260,000 - $390,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
