Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus, answering any questions they may have about the menu items.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the lightspeed POS system.
- Process cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy in handling payments and change.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food safety standards are met during service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Buss tables promptly after guests leave to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from customers.
- Provide assistance to team members as needed, fostering a supportive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage with guests effectively.
- Basic culinary knowledge is a plus, particularly in food preparation techniques.
- Experience with cash registers or POS systems, specifically lightspeed POS, is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
