Role Description The Early Childhood Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Durham, NC. This educator will design and facilitate developmentally appropriate learning experiences that nurture each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Daily responsibilities include planning and implementing lesson activities, maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment, observing and documenting children’s progress, and communicating regularly with families about their child’s learning journey. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, participating in professional development, and contributing to a joyful, culturally responsive classroom culture aligned with the center’s educational justice mission. The educator will model respect, care, and curiosity while supporting children’s innate potential and excellence.
