Summary
The Core Technician is a hands‑on scientific production role responsible for supporting the manufacturing of sterile biological pharmaceutical products in a cGMP cleanroom environment. The role requires strong adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and documentation standards. Candidates must be comfortable working in full aseptic gowning, performing repetitive accuracy‑critical tasks, and maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulatory guidelines; ensure team compliance.
- Perform production procedures strictly according to written SOPs, batch records, and cGMP requirements.
- Identify and report deviations from accepted practices.
- Maintain quality systems, documentation accuracy, and compliance for all assigned activities.
- Work primarily in a cleanroom environment with full aseptic gowning (scrubs, hood, mask, boots, double gloves).
- Support operational readiness by maintaining equipment, materials, and work areas.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members to maintain a positive work environment.
- Assign tasks clearly, monitor progress, and manage competing priorities when leading others.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
Required Education
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.)
Acceptable Alternatives:
- High School Diploma with intermediate lab experience in a cGMP clinical production environment
- Bachelor’s degree with basic lab experience
Required Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in laboratory, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or cGMP production.
- Experience working in a cleanroom or sterile environment preferred.
- Familiarity with SOPs, GMP, GDP, and safety compliance.
- Experience handling documentation, deviations, and regulated processes.
Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour
