What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Engineer position at Katalyst CRO?
Skill Requirement
- Study Assembly Lines/ Processes and identify areas for improvement as per Lean Principles
- Perform Time Study and Line Balancing - Elemental breakdown, Video Time study- All Processes (Stations & Operator), VA/NVA/RNVA analysis, Develop Current State Line Balancing, Muri Analysis.
- Develop Value Stream Mapping - Current State VSM - Identify bottlenecks, wastes and inefficiencies, Capacity analysis and Current baselining, Future State VSM, Current state vs Future state
- Identify Process and productivity improvement opportunities for entire process with Level 1,2,3 improvement suggestions report and roadmap.
- Develop/ re-write Standard work instructions, Video work instructions.
- Analysis of Root Cause for the quality failures, defects, downtimes etc., and support in corrective action & Kaizen / improvement identification with detailed implementation. plan Support in Fixture design as per requirements.
