Job Summary
- Responsible for loading, operating, and unloading rubber press equipment to manufacture products that meet all product specifications, quality standards, and production requirements while minimizing waste and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Load raw materials into the press according to established procedures, ensuring proper weight and material distribution for consistent Mold coverage.
- Monitor and operate press equipment to ensure lubrication, temperature, tonnage, and cycle times meet product specifications. Report any equipment issues or process deficiencies to the setup technician or supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by properly disposing of scrap, waste, and other materials in designated locations.
- Ensure cleanliness of equipment and workstations by removing oil, cured scrap, water, and other contaminants that could affect product quality before or after curing.
- Accurately complete production, quality, and process documentation.
- Trim excess material from pads, inspect stoppers for quality defects, and perform necessary corrective actions when defects are identified.
- Process manufactured pads through the cooling unit according to established procedures.
- Stack and place pads or stoppers onto pallets or other designated storage locations.
- Follow all safety policies, environmental procedures, and Quality System Regulations (QSRs) always.
- Rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule.
- Shift Hours: 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
