Job Overview
We are looking for a strong C Developer with experience in high-frequency / low-latency trading environments. The candidate will work on real-time trading platforms and market data systems within the SPEED team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance C applications
- Work on real-time trading systems and market data platforms
- Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot issues across application and system layers
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams
- Write clean, production-quality code
Required Skills
- Strong experience in C (must have SPEED C experience)
- Hands-on experience in high-frequency / low-latency trading
- Experience in capital markets / trading platforms
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency
- Experience with performance tuning and debugging
- Familiarity with Linux and Git
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python or scripting
- Knowledge of market data, OMS, or trading systems
- Exposure to networking or real-time systems
Candidate Requirements
- Must have recent trading platform experience
- Stable work history (good tenure / long projects preferred)
- Local candidates preferred (NYC / Miami area)
