Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Creator and Manager based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Social Media Creator and Manager will plan, create, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other emerging channels to highlight the practice’s services, results, and patient experience. Daily responsibilities include developing content calendars, scripting and filming short-form videos, capturing behind-the-scenes footage, coordinating photo and video shoots, and editing content for brand-consistent storytelling. The role will also manage community engagement by responding to comments and messages, moderating conversations, and supporting reputation management. Additionally, the Social Media Creator and Manager will track performance metrics, report on key insights, collaborate with the clinical and front-desk teams, and suggest new strategies to grow brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in social media content creation and management, including short-form video, photography, and basic graphic design.
- Experience planning and executing social media content calendars and campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube).
- Proficiency with content editing tools and apps (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms).
- Ability to write clear, engaging captions and on-screen copy tailored to different audiences and channels.
- Comfort working on-site to film, direct, and capture real-time content with staff, facilities, and (where appropriate) patients.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, branding, and aesthetics, ideally with portfolio examples in beauty, wellness, or healthcare.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking social media performance, interpreting analytics, and optimizing content based on data.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
